  • My question would be, when is the first carbon framed E-BIKE going to roll off the assembly line? Sure, racing bikes will always be needed for that purpose, but absolute MASSES of e-bikes are being sold at the moment and folks can't get them fast enough, so companies with 'lighter' aka 'carbon fibre' would be a great selling feature, especially with the new 1000w electric motors out now, which would highly increase the distance, before the need of recharging!

  • It is a great video. The amount of work involved is impressive. Shame about the building of such a lovely piece of engineering is being done in a country with such bad health and safety record. Why not build them France it would save all that teleportation. Well done.

  • Maybe you all guys don't believe. My carbon fork and frame were just about $30 and $165 respectively. And I have no trouble with it for a year. To me, famous brands' carbon fiber bikes are expensive just because of the brand itself. You can say notable brands ensure more safety. But carbon fiber bikes are now very common, I don't think the build quality could be an issue. The only concern about those cheap carbon is that those manufactures may not add some "T-700" in it to lower the cost. But I am not a racer, I don't ride my bike like pros do, so that marginal strength doesn't matter.

  • 3:25 WTF the deflection might be because of its LOWER length. The shorter length won’t deflect as much (all other variables being considered). ALL RODS should be the same length for an unbiased display!!! That’s REALLY deceptive!! Add in a rod that is 4 feet long, any weight will bend it to the floor! Edit; “same mass" DOES NOT EQUAL same amount of carbon fiber per square inch!! DECEPTIVE, although I know that Carbon Fiber has amazing properties. I'm just saying compare oranges to oranges NOT apples to the branch they were grown on

  • So outsourced to a third world country to produce a carbon fiber frame for 30€ per and then charge 10,000€ per frame. Also they pay hardly anything in wages to the people working. Cool way to screw over sooooo many people.

  • Straight away let's eliminate a total myth about carbon fibre. IT IS NOT STRONGER THAN METAL. Yes in a lab you can prove it is but in the real world it just isn't! It never has been! Funny how certain manufacturers have avoided the stuff and even Mondraker have launched their new Downhill Mountain Bike in Alloy only as their pro riders said it rides better than carbon. This is not a wonder material and is definitely massively over priced.
